The folks over at www.marketleader.com discovered two facts that got them wondering if there a correlation between the number of times a pro football team makes it to the Super Bowl and the average real estate prices in their home town. Here are the facts that they found:
- 7 out of the 10 teams that have gone to the Super Bowl the most (5+ times) are from cities with HIGH median home prices, when compared to the average median home price of cities with NFL teams
- 9 out of the 13 NFL teams that have gone to the Super Bowl the least (never or once) are from cities with LOW median home prices, when compared to the average median home price of cities with NFL teams
